MANDY MATTHEWS

Nichols Point, Victoria

While studying at Deakin University in Geelong, Victoria, Mandy recognised a love for historic buildings which led to a decade of work with various Melbourne-based architectural firms and government agencies in the field of heritage restoration and the refurbishment of heritage buildings for apartments and multi-use developments.

In 2008 Mandy relocated to North Queensland and established her own solo practice to further her interest in residential design. While learning the skills of designing for the tropics, Mandy developed an aesthetic for simplified living, light-filled spaces that are practical and easy to live in. Made for the relaxed North Queensland lifestyle.

Since moving back to Victoria in 2021, Mandy is continuing to work on residential projects in various locations throughout the North Queensland region. She currently lives in Nichols Point near Mildura, NW Victoria.
